An onsen is a hot springs bathing facility fashioned after those in Japan. 'Onsen' in Japanese literally translates 'hot springs'. Hot springs are very popular in Australia, and there are a few onsens worth visiting including Japanese Bath House, Shizuka and Japanese Mountain Retreat.
